Asmaa El-Nawawy was born in Cairo in 1981, where she lives and works as an associate professor at the Faculty of Fine Arts, Helwan University from 2004 to 2019, She is currently working at the British University in Cairo. She received the State Incentive Award in 2018, and the State Award for Creativity in 2014.
